On the façade of the Somogy Megyei Kaposi Mór Oktató Kórház (Kaposvár) obstetrics building, an important work by Bory Jenő may be seen.
The relief scenes are arranged between Doric columns in articulated panels within the vertical band formed by the windows placed one above another. Three different scenes can be seen: a mother breastfeeding her child, a nun nursing a child, and a woman with children.
One relief depicts a mother caring for her twin children; in the rendering of the mother, Bory Jenő’s beloved wife is unmistakably recognisable, her face clearly reflecting the features of Komócsin Ilona. “In 1910, my life companion gave me, instead of the little boy she had promised, two daughters.” Bory wrote of the birth of their twin daughters.
The beloved face of Mrs Bory is likewise recognisable in the relief depicting a mother breastfeeding her child, a face the artist carved in countless ways, forms and materials.
